Easy installation

The new generation of Öllöv irons features a redesigned forged steel core, making them easier to install. No special tools are required; a standard hammer is sufficient. For optimal adjustment, the rubber can be slightly removed from the sides and around the clips.

These shoes offer increased comfort for the horse and a quieter fit, contributing to a peaceful atmosphere during shoeing.

Effectiveness demonstrated by studies

Öllöv shoes have proven effective in reducing shock and vibration, promoting comfort and recovery for horses, particularly during rehabilitation. Studies conducted in 2018 by Chalmers University of Technology revealed that these rubber shoes offer superior shock absorption compared to steel shoes, while still approximating the natural movement of the unshod hoof.

Additionally, a comparative study showed that Öllöv shoes have a glide phase closer to that of an unshod hoof, thus reducing stress on joints and tendons.
